How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Language Cafe app on your device
  2. Go to your Profile tab (bottom right)
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon in top right)
  4. Scroll to Account Actions and tap Delete Account
  5. Verify your identity (password, Google sign-in, or SMS code depending on your sign-in method)
  6. Type DELETE to confirm
  7. Tap Delete My Account Forever

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reactivate my account after deletion?

No. Account deletion is permanent. If you want to use Language Cafe again after deleting your account, you will need to create a new account from scratch.

Can I use the same email/phone for a new account?

Yes. After your account is fully deleted (within 30 days), you can use the same email address or phone number to create a new account.

What happens to communities I created?

Communities are shared spaces. If you are an admin of a community, we recommend promoting another trusted member to admin before deleting your account so the community can continue smoothly.

Will my messages be deleted from other users' chats?

Your messages in voice room chats will be removed from our servers. Your username and profile information will no longer be associated with any remaining references.

How do I know my data has been deleted?

After you delete your account in the app, you will be signed out immediately. If you submit a deletion request by email or through the form above, our support team may follow up to verify your identity and confirm completion.
